Hey everyone,
If you've ever tried to study film or find a specific match from an IBJJF tournament, you know how annoying it can be to sift through endless YouTube channels, poorly labeled videos, or try to remember which mat/day a match happened on.
To make my own film study easier, I’ve been working on a tool called
It’s completely free (and currently experimental), but it lets you filter matches by:
Competitor Name (Winner/Loser)
Division (Belt, Age, Gender, Weight)
Tournament Context (Specific event, day, mat, or round)
Team
You can queue up matches and watch them right there, or use the direct timestamps to jump straight to the action on YouTube if embedding is disabled. You can also generate a shareable link of a custom playlist to send to training partners or your coach.
I'm looking to get some feedback from the community. Give it a spin and let me know:
What features are missing that would help your film study?
Are there any bugs you run into while filtering?
Check it out here:
Hope this helps some of you with your training/scouting!
