Google trends helps us visualise the extent a UFC star is being searched for and with Islam Makhachev taking over from Khabib and representing Russia and Dagestan here is a graph how the number of searches he gets compares with his friend and sparring partner Khabib Nurmagomedov.
The jumps are points when these fighters have fights and you can see that Islam is doing great in drawing the attention of the general public.
